Outfitera is a home-grown sustainable fashion label focused on giving denim a second life. Instead of producing new fabric, we rescue and upcycle high-quality denim from different parts of the world. Each piece is carefully redesigned, reconstructed, and refreshed to create one-of-a-kind denim wear.
Our mission is simple — reduce fashion waste, minimise environmental harm, and offer clothing that looks good, feels good, and does good for the planet.
2. How does upcycling work at Outfitera?
Upcycling at Outfitera is a detailed and thoughtful process. We start by sourcing premium-quality denim garments from global suppliers, recycling facilities, and surplus channels.
Once the denim arrives, it goes through:
- Careful selection by our design team
- Deep cleaning and sanitisation
- A rigorous 7-stage quality check
- Sorting based on style, wash, texture, and wearability
- Redesigning using techniques like distressing, patchwork, embroidery, and reconstruction
- Handcrafting every detail
- Finishing each piece with our signature Green Pocket
Every item is individually made, which means no two pieces look exactly the same — that’s the charm of wearing upcycled denim.
3. Where and how do you rescue denim?
We rescue denim from different countries because denim is durable, timeless, and widely worn. Instead of letting these garments reach landfills, we collect, sort, and refresh them.
The process includes:
- Sourcing from global recycling streams
- Sorting each piece manually
- Checking durability, fabric health, and stitching integrity
- Selecting only pieces that can be transformed into premium, long-lasting clothing
This global rescue ecosystem allows us to offer a wide range of washes, fits, styles, and textures — all while reducing waste.

Every Outfitera product is upcycled, not newly manufactured — which makes a huge environmental difference.

- Prevent nearly 15 kg of carbon emissions

5. How do I know my size?
Every product page includes a detailed size guide designed to help you pick the perfect fit.
Since each piece is handcrafted and upcycled, there may be slight variations from product to product.

6. How should I care for my Outfitera garment?
Upcycled denim deserves gentle care.
You’ll find:
- A detailed wash care guide on every product page
- Care labels stitched inside each garment
In general, we recommend:
- Washing inside out
- Using mild detergent
- Air-drying instead of tumble-drying
- Avoiding harsh chemicals or bleach
Proper care will keep your denim looking great for years.
7. Which payment modes do you offer?
We accept a variety of secure payment options, including:

- Cash on Delivery
All online payments are processed through trusted payment partners.
8. Can I track my order?
Yes.
As soon as your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email and/or SMS with a tracking link.
You can also use the “Track My Order” section on our website anytime to check real-time updates.
9. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
We usually dispatch orders within 24 hours. If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we’ll try our best to assist with a change or cancellation.
Simply email us outfitera.in with your order number.
Once the order ships, modifications or cancellations are not possible.
10. My order is delayed. What should I do?
Sometimes minor delays can happen during transit due to courier network issues or logistics loads.
If your tracking hasn’t updated for 48–72 hours, feel free to reach out to us with your order ID. We’ll check with the courier partner and update you quickly.
11. Do you offer international shipping?
Not yet.
Currently, we ship only across India. However, we are working toward expanding internationally soon.

While we take great care in packing orders, mistakes can happen.
If you receive a defective or incorrect product, email us within 3 days of delivery at outfitera.in with:

- Your order number
- A brief explanation
We’ll resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
14. Can I use more than one discount code?
No.
Only one coupon, discount code, or voucher can be applied per order.
Discounts cannot be combined unless a specific offer mentions otherwise.
15. Can I redeem my FLXY voucher or in-store credit online?
Not at the moment.
FLXY and in-store vouchers can currently be redeemed only at our physical location.
We are working on enabling online redemption soon.
16. Do you restock sold-out items?
Because each item is upcycled, many pieces are completely unique and may not return once sold out.
However, customer favourites and certain styles may be re-released in new forms.

Yes, but only for collaborations or bulk custom requirements.
